Operations Associate

About the Position

CNote uses technology to empower individuals and institutions to further economic equality, racial justice, gender equity, and address climate change with their capital. The Operations Team is looking for a motivated and driven Operations Associate to join our efforts. Responsibilities will include identifying opportunities to improve operational practices, managing tasks related to clients’ success, overseeing customer support, and assisting with day-to-day operations and execution of agreements and account openings.

  • Report directly to the Chief Operations Officer and work closely with the Operations & Finance Manager to handle day-to-day tasks, ad hoc requests, and achieve overall planned objectives
  • Provide cross-operational support to Operations, Investments, and Sales teams to enhance the user experience for CNote clients and financial institutions
  • Manage stakeholder onboarding processes, including operational interviews, agreement signing, relationship management, and more
  • Help develop, document, and maintain operational procedures related to the financial institution and investor experience
  • Collaborate with Operations and Technology teams to further develop and scale a tech-driven solution for onboarding and servicing
  • Oversee the customer support function and lead process improvement efforts
  • Assist with additional activities, including month-end tasks around reporting and reconciliation, as well as HR and culture-building activities.

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in operations support roles, preferably with a focus on financial or technology services
  • Ability to help develop and maintain professional, high-touch relationships with business executives
  • Demonstrated organizational, task management, and customer support skills
  • Ability to work independently on a variety of projects and manage time effectively, as well as show up as a team player and work collaboratively for the sake of a mission
  • Strong emotional intelligence, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive mindset
  • Superb attention to details
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to timely delivery of high-quality products and services
  • Ability to constructively receive and give critical feedback
  • Advanced experience working with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (especially spreadsheets) experience with data collection and management within CRM tools (Pipedrive, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.), Excel, or other tools/platforms
  • Preferred experience with ZenDesk

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and include an equity stake in CNote.
