CNote is seeking a sharp, motivated, impact-driven individual to join our team.

As a VP of Sales, Eastern Region, you will manage, direct, and close new business opportunities in the East Coast Region of the United States. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales. The growth and professional development opportunities at CNote are vast.

CNote is about helping financially under-resourced communities thrive. This position will help us identify collaborative ways to drive more investment into these communities. In this role you will:

● Source, manage, direct and close 9-10 deals per quarter from our Target Market: Fortune 1000 Corporations
● Engage in weekly sales meetings and monthly sales training sessions
● Other responsibilities and activities as needed

Our ideal candidate will have:
● 5-7 years selling SasS or financial services solutions
● Experience targeting and selling into multiple buying personas – CFO, Treasurer, DEI/ESG leaders, and HR
● Miller Heiman or similar sales expertise required and demonstrated throughout sales career
● Be understanding of and excited by early-stage financial technology culture
● Team player mentality – will work directly with SDR and marketing. Other VP Sales and SVP Sales to ensure a robust pipeline at all times
● Collaborative mindset – provides feedback willingly and is proactive in managing relationships, expectations, and CRM
● Creativity and resourcefulness when deals change trajectory
● Strong desire for promoting Impact Investments, cutting edge technology, and new ways to deploy capital
● Successful track record of managed discovery, presentation, proposal, negotiations, contracting and hand off to professional services in past sales roles
● Experience identifying new business opportunities through sales research and strategy within CNote’s core verticals: corporations, foundations, wealth management firms
● Excellent verbal, presentation, and demonstration skills

Qualifications
● Formal education and experience are less important than past sales success developing territories and closing complex deals, we’re looking for team members who are mission-aligned and committed to doing great work. Period.
● 3-7+ years’ experience working in direct business-to-business Enterprise sales roles with a focus on serving financial services, fintech or corporate treasury clients preferred
● Willing and able to travel 35-50% of time
● Excellent presentation and communicating skills face to face, on the phone and through video conferencing apps
● Ability to develop relationships across buying personas at Fortune 1000 Corporations
● Passionate about CNote’s social-change mission focused on equality and economic empowerment
● Organizational and sales support skills, along with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
● Able to work independently on a variety of projects and manage time effectively
● Digitally fluent and experience with CRM database management for sales
● Excellent interpersonal skills

CNote Compensation will be $112,500-$137,500 base salary commensurate with experience plus commission opportunity commensurate with performance and include an equity stake in CNote.
